As a marine biologist visiting from Edinburgh, my family's recent stay at the Esmeralda was nice. The family-friendly atmosphere was evident through various thoughtful amenities, making our experience enjoyable. We found the complimentary stay for children under 12 years a fantastic incentive for families, allowing us to explore without the added financial burden. My two-year-old was particularly taken with the hotel's children's play area, which provided a safe haven for her to engage with other kids while we relaxed. The staff's attentiveness towards families was evident, with activities catered for all ages. We especially appreciated the organized fjord tours, where our family could witness amazing marine life. Dining was another highlight, with a wide selection of sustainable seafood that appealed to our tastes. Having the option to enjoy meals together while sharing stories from our daily adventures made our stay even more special. Esmeralda offered a welcoming retreat for families, balancing comfort with engaging activities amidst the stunning backdrop of the Nordic landscape.
